			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mostly I don&#8217;t need to look hard for a plugin that serves my - never ending - needs in Wordpress. But - without any real need - I decided to have a go at plugin programming. Together with my <a href="http://blog.heick.nu">SEO mastermind friend Pål</a> I looked into developing a plugin that adds a field to posts for a short version of the post title. The short version title is useful for site navigation alongside categories.</p>
<p>As soon as the plugin reaches maturity we will publish it here.</p>

<p>But the MacBook is a fine piece of machinery.</p>
<p>One of the great things about my MacBook is that I am able to run Windows XP in parallel with Mac OS X thus taking advantage of the different qualities of the system. I am even planning on running a Linux box alongside the two.</p>
